STRENGTHENING GLOBAL NETWORK, STIKES NOTOKUSUMO ESTABLISHES STRATEGIC COOPERATION WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF MURORAN CITY, JAPAN

STIKES Notokusumo Advanced Nursing Lab Facility Reaps Praise from Japanese Delegation

YOGYAKARTA – STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta has once again proven its commitment to producing globally competitive health workers. A strategic step was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Muroran City, Japan.

The visit of the delegation from Muroran City not only inaugurated the partnership but also became a momentum to strengthen friendship and celebrate the success of STIKES Notokusumo alumni who have had careers in the Land of Sakura.

The event was solemn and full of warmth. As a symbol of the beginning of close cooperation, the two institutions exchanged mementoes. The Muroran City delegation specifically expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the trust given by STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta. They also expressed their high enthusiasm to collaborate and welcome more talents from STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta in the future.

This cooperation has a strong foundation. This partnership is built on the foundation of alumni who have already proven their quality. STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta alumni have contributed to various health facilities in Japan and are representatives of the quality of institutions, especially in the field of Nursing.

In the discussion, Muroran City gave special appreciation to the alumni. “The graduates from STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta show an extraordinary work ethic. We were very impressed with their seriousness in learning Japanese, which is the key to adaptation and professional service,” said the delegate representative.

After the ceremony, the Muroran City delegation was invited to tour the campus to directly inspect the educational facilities at STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta. The visit was focused on integrated laboratories, especially the Mini Hospital of Nursing. The Japanese delegation looked amazed when they saw the laboratory equipped with an operation simulation (OK) room. “This is extraordinary. Not all campuses in Japan have operating room lab (OK) facilities dedicated to student learning,” praised one of the delegates.

The praise is a validation that STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta has very adequate and high-standard nursing education facilities. The advantages of this facility have proven to be able to prepare students with practical skills that are relevant to the needs of the global health industry.

Through this strategic partnership, STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta and the Muroran City Government aim to expand internship and international career opportunities for students, while also strengthening STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta’s position as a leading health education institution in Indonesia.
