CAPPING DAY is an annual agenda held to prepare students to enter practice for the first time, organized by the Diploma Three Nursing Study Program. This capping day activity is a program initiated by lecturers and the foundation at the Notokusumo Nursing Academy since its inception as one of the first health schools in Yogyakarta. During this period, the pledge was carried out via online media via Zoom, which was attended by approximately 157 students. the presence of Florence Nightangel as a symbol of the example and sincerity of a nurse was presented at this ceremony. The noble moral values expressed in this agenda aim to enable students to apply them in nursing care services.
In this agenda, awards are also given to outstanding students and students who have a culture of visiting the library.
Through this Capping Day event, Stikes Notokusumo Yogyakarta as a health school in Yogyakarta provides moral development and also emphasizes the noble values of nursing in order to make students professional and have noble character.
