Thursday, January 25, 2024, STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta held a meeting with parents of new students for the 2023/2024 academic year through online. This meeting is a routine meeting held by STIKES Notokusumo every new academic year begins. The meeting, which was attended by the leadership and management of STIKES Notokusumo, aims to establish friendship and provide information to parents of students regarding academic, financial, and student affairs systems. The event was opened with remarks from the Chairman of Stikes Notokusumo, Taukhit, M.Kep.
At this meeting, parents of students were introduced to the curriculum ofSTIKES Notokusumo, the teaching and learning process, study rooms, and academic advisors who will foster students from the first year until students graduate and earn a bachelor’s degree. In addition, parents of students were also given an explanation of the credits they would take, student administrative obligations, and motivation for students to participate in competitions as an actualization for students to develop themselves from both academic and non-academic sides. From the online meeting, it was also explained how parents can monitor their children’s academic progress through the student siakad system so that parents can control their respective children.
It is hoped that the meeting with parents of D3 Nursing, S1 Nursing Ners, and S1 Pharmacy students can become a bridge between universities and student parents so that they can foster and support student activities in achieving the best achievements in all fields of life.
