STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta again held an Industrial Visit and Spiritual Reflection, which was attended by 31 students of the Department of Pharmacy from Mappi, South Papua, on March 27, 2026. This activity took place at Taman Jamu Naturindo, an educational destination that combines traditional nuances with practical learning in the fields of health and pharmacy.
During this visit, students have the opportunity to:
- Explore the production space and get to know the process of making herbal medicine.
- Doing direct practice of making herbal powder.
- Learn techniques for propagating medicinal plants.
- Get to know more about the different types of medicinal plants through educational storefronts.
In addition to providing industry experience, this activity was also filled with spiritual reflection sessions aimed at strengthening the value of togetherness, ethics, and responsibility as prospective health workers. The beautiful natural atmosphere at Taman Jamu Naturindo supports the learning process as well as becoming a contemplation space for students.
This visit is part of STIKES Notokusumo Yogyakarta’s commitment to provide a holistic learning experience, combining academic, practical, and spiritual aspects.
