Yogyakarta, April 16, 2026 – A total of 52 graduates of STIKes Notokusumo Yogyakarta were officially graduated in the graduation procession for the second period of the 2025/2026 academic year. This event is an important momentum after previously, in September 2025, the campus had graduated around 200 students.
Chairman of STIKes Notokusumo Yogyakarta, Taukhit, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., said that the need for health workers in Indonesia is still very high. This opens up wide job opportunities for graduates, both domestically and abroad. “The health sector remains a stable and sustainable field. Graduates are not only expected to work in health facilities, but also be able to develop as entrepreneurs in the health sector,” he said.
In addition to academic competence, STIKes Notokusumo students are also equipped with foreign language skills, entrepreneurship, and soft skills such as communication and leadership. This provision is expected to make graduates ready to compete in the dynamic world of work. The campus also supports alumni through the Notokusumo Career Center, which actively collaborates with various health institutions to expand career opportunities.
One of the graduates, Rina Ayu Pratiwi from the Nursing Study Program, expressed her gratitude. “This graduation is not the end, but the beginning of our journey as health workers. I hope to be able to serve in the hospital soon and bring the good name of STIKes Notokusumo,” he said excitedly.
This graduation affirms STIKes Notokusumo Yogyakarta’s commitment to producing professional, independent, and dignified health workers, and are ready to serve the community and the nation.
